Months in advance, I made a reservation at the newly revamped Pump Room for my husband's Birthday. After a major makeover, The Pump Room reopened in the Public Hotel. My mother in law, Diane, shared some great stories and memories of eating at the legendary spot back in the day. It used to be the BIG scene and only the glamorous would wine and dine there. We were pumped to check out the reopening of this classic hot spot and eat the scrumptious food. We loved the ambiance, decor, and crowd. I loved the Converse shoes donned by the waitstaff. I really wanted to order the famous wiener schnitzel with arugula salad, roasted sweet potatoes, & cranberries but the birthday boy got to choose everything we noshed. We ordered so much food and it was all delicious.
